About us

Forging the next generation of ethical hackers

A Capture The Flag platform from the Department of Computer Application at Integral University — where classroom theory meets live competition, and every flag captured is a skill earned.

Institutional home

An initiative of Integral University, Lucknow

ByteBattle Escape is an initiative of the Department of Computer Application, Integral University, a NAAC A+ accredited institution committed to fostering practical and industry-oriented cybersecurity education. The platform is developed by Rahil Khan, with Farhan Khan members of Cyber Awarness Club leading the design and development of its challenge modules. Together, under the guidance and support of Integral University, they deliver an immersive Capture The Flag (CTF) experience that transforms cybersecurity concepts into hands-on challenges, encouraging students to develop practical skills in ethical hacking, problem-solving, and cyber defense.

Our journey

From Season 1 to the arena today

BBE started as a student-led CTF initiative at Integral University and grew into a full platform for ethical hacking practice — from faculty-guided labs to a live arena the community hacks on every season.

2023

CTF Season 1

Where it all began — our first ByteBattle Escape season launched with a small set of challenges and a growing community of curious hackers.

2023

CTF Season 2

Season three expanded our challenge library and sharpened the competition format — more modules, more players, more flags.

2025

CTF Season 3

The latest chapter — a rebuilt platform with structured categories, live leaderboards, and a home for hackers at every skill level.

What we stand for

We believe the best security professionals are forged in the arena — solving real puzzles, capturing flags, and learning from every attempt.

  • Hands-on challenges over passive lectures
  • Ethical hacking with clear rules of engagement
  • A community that celebrates curiosity and persistence
